I knew I wanted to work with words from an early age. I began as a
volunteer reporter on the bi-weekly Burnley Express newspaper and went
on to train in magazine journalism at the London College of Printing
(now the University of the Arts, London). I also have a BA (Hons)
degree in English Literature from Lancaster University. My editorial activities span many years and today I do press and publicity work: interviewing; writing; editing; proof reading; PR. In recent years I’ve had great success promoting the work of the veteran artist, Hannah Frank.
I love nurturing talent helping others realise their dreams. I’ve helped lots of people along their way including an award-winning hospice; a classic motorcycling publisher; interior designer; healthcare practitioners; musicians and artists. I’ve been on the Chamber of Commerce’s editorial board as a feature writer. I’m also a volunteer mentor for young people in custody.
